  • Home at last. GLORIOUS!!!!

    On the way home I

...saw this guy who looked EXACTLY like Elvis Presley. If I didn't know better I would say that he was still alive. I sort wish I had pictures.

...got to spend a few hours with JP in DC. That was nice.  JP is awesome.

..had some friends pick me up at about 2 in the morning and took me out on the town till about 5 in the morning. That is called dedication,  especially when you consider the fact that they were at the airport the night before at 2 in the morning waiting for me. I am so loved.

I finally got home and my mom had this big old Turkey dinner for me. Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes ect.
Like I said, I am loved.

and then after church and lunch, I slept for about 14 hours.

    Happiness!

  • So I have been unable to access xanga for so long that I sorta forgot I had one. I realized just today.... "Oh yeah. I can check xanga now." This "now" only lasts till about tomorrow afternoon seeing as how I didn't remember until the end of my Thanksgiving break. (sigh)

So I have been spending my time with...

    5 Bible and Theology classes

    Piano

College Choir (Choir tour was sweetness.)

    and ear training.

and all that fun stuff that goes with college procrastination and mental recoup time.

    Yes!

    Life is good.

    Life is tough.

    Life can be a pain.

    Life is still good.

    God is always good!

    Life is life.

I get a star for being so profound.

  • The trip was amazing. The Lord gave me a special gift of joy while spending the week doing a VBS in one of the nearby villages.

I should be going camping this weekend.

    Tuesday I leave for school.

What does it mean when you write these fairly long comments for people and end up posting the comments on your own site instead of theirs? Something bad?

  • Overbooked flights can be awesome. Thanks to two of them I ended up spending about $1,400 using free ticket vouchers. I only had to spend about $180 of real money. That deal is pretty hard to beat. Taylor would be so proud of me.

Leaving tomorrow for about a week.

I am VERY tired which means I should finish packing.

  • Time for an update.

Right now I am home for the summer. This week I am busy helping with VBS. I have been supervising the Fiskeaux household for the last week and and a half. I have till Saturday when my parents will return from Israel. Next week I should be heading with a church group for one of the surrounding villages for a week long mission trip. Other than that my summer has been consumed with singing, computers and just some good old relaxing.

I will be heading back to school in Cincinnati at the end of August. For those of you who don't really know what I am doing there, I am just going to be working on some music stuff and taking Bible and Theology classes. If you are ever in the area stop by. I am not sure how long of a time period I am going to be at this school but we will see what God has in store for the future.

    In His Service
